Daily devotion

It is so important for the spiritual health of a Christian to be fed by the word of God and nourished in prayer each day.  But sometimes it can be hard to know what to do, what to read and what to pray.  So, we recommend these excellent resources, that you can either buy or use online, to help you each day.

  • Tabletalk — Ligonier, a US Christian educational institute, have been producing a great monthly magazine called Tabletalk for years.  As well as giving you great articles, by leading theologians and pastors, on a different theme each month, they also have a daily Bible reading with comment and application for daily life.  It’s free online!
  • The Good Book Company — has produced a booklet and App called Explore Daily Devotions. These are great at taking you slowly through a book of the Bible, with well divided readings for each day. As well as the daily reading there is some explanation and points for prayer.
